A New Year at ATCAS!

It's our first challenge of the year at Addicted to CAS!  It was nice to have a little bit of a break over the holidays, but I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and making cards again!  We are starting this year off with a fun challenge...
For my card, I also drew inspiration from the challenges at CASology and Freshly Made Sketches
My die cuts of choice happen to be Framelits. I just love them and recently got a new set from the newly released Occasions Catalog, Banner Framelits.
What better party than a BIRTHDAY party?!  Banners are just perfect for parties, don't you think?  I did two different sizes of banners and for my Island Indigo banner I also die cut the middle out of it. This is SUPER easy to do with one roll through the Big Shot if you are using the Magnetic Platform.  If you don't have one, I think it's a necessity. lol It's one of those tools that you don't really want to spend the money on, but once you get it you wonder how you ever lived without it. :)

Stamp Set: Bring on the Cake
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Ink: Island Indigo
Tools: Banner Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Chevron Embossing Folder, Envelope Punch Board
Accessories: Gingham Garden DSP and Washi Tape, Brights Candy Dots
