Pennants, pennants, everywhere!

If you pay attention to cardmaking and scrapbooking at ALL, you will notice that pennants are VERY trendy right now!  I love them too and have a hard time making a card without them lately!  Here is a sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday that uses these fabulous pennants:
Some day I am going to replicate that exact card because I think it is too stinkin' cute!  For mine, I wanted to do an easy fall card for my upcoming Stamp-A-Stack where we will be making 10 fall cards, 2 each of 5 designs.
I wanted to use the Gumball Green ribbon since you can get it FREE this month with a $40 purchase.  I got out my Color Coach and thought it paired up nicely with More Mustard and Bravo Burgundy for a nice fall card.  Gently Falling is my FAVORITE fall stamp set of all time.  I just love the two-step stamps and this one is super easy to line up without the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  The leaves are stamped on the First Edition Specialty DSP, which is another hot trend right now.  Since this is for a Stamp-A-Stack, I thought it would be better to stamp and cut out a leaf to add at the top instead of a bow like the sketch.  It makes it a little bit more mailable but still has some dimension.  I also curled the bottoms of the pennants for even more dimension.  It looks like they are blowing in a gentle fall breeze!
