Simple Sparkly Christmas

I was really excited to see that the challenge at Less is More this week is Glamour and Glitz.  I thought this would make for a nice and easy Christmas card!
Of course my glamour and glitz doesn't show very well in my picture!  Here's a close up of the trees:
I first stamped the trees in Midnight Muse. Then I cut out a frame and used the negative as a mask to sponge inside with Bashful Blue and Illuminate Watermark Ink.  I used Silver Dazzling Details on the trees for the sparkle.  Of course, when I stamped my sentiment, I got a line from the edge of the stamp, so I added the rhinestones to cover my mistake.  That was okay because it is a glamour and glitz card, right?!  :)

Stamp Sets: Lovely as a Tree, More Merry Messages
Cardstock: Whisper White
Ink: Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Illuminate Watermark
Tools: sponges, Simply Scored
Accessories: Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon, Silver Dazzling Details, Basic Rhinestones

  2. How smart to use the rhinestones to cover up the ink line! I love it when a card can be saved. This is a very pretty, sparkly card!
