Today I joined in on the challenges at Create with Connie and Mary, The Paper Players and CASology.
The first thing I think of when I hear "wild" is wildflowers, and I thought these colors would be perfect for that. The frame part was easy. I decided to use one of my favorite masking techniques for the frame.
I die cut the frame out of a piece of scrap cardstock and used that as my mask. Then I used my Stampin' Write markers to color the flower stamp from Just Believe twice and stamped it over the mask. Make sure you huff on your stamp before stamping on your cardstock to get the richest color. With the mask still in place, I lightly sponged Island Indigo inside to create the frame. I just love this technique! Added the sentiment, butterflies and rhinestones and I was done! So clean and simple!
Stamp Sets: Just Believe, Perfectly Penned
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade
Tools: Labels Collection Framelits, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, sponge
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones
Your card is beautiful, Shana!! The reverse masking is the perfect backdrop for your pretty wildflowers and butterflies. Great color combo!
