Countless Sayings 2

I was in love with this stamp set the second it came out.  Another plus for me was that it is a Photopolymer stamp set, which I LOVE. They still to the block like glue and are easy to position on your cardstock when you are stamping. I am on a limited budget so I wasn't able to get Countless Sayings 1, but it is next on my list!  I wanted to make a card for my dear husband, Brett. He was stuck home with me and the kids for 4 days, and had to put up with a lot so he deserved a special card! lol I used the challenge at The Paper Players to get me started. One of these days maybe an idea will come to me without the help of a challenge, but for now, I need a little extra boost! :)
This is one of my favorite techniques.  It is so simple and I don't think it is possible to mess it up because it is supposed to look messy!
I stamped my words in Black StazOn ink and then colored them in with my Aqua Painter. I then stamped some tiny hearts inside the "Happy" and I just love how it turned out!  My favorite part was adding the extra little details: the Silver Glimmer heart, the bow, the rhinestones and the embossed hearts.  I wanted it to be extra special, so I also decided to decorate the inside!  I have been saying for a long time that I want to start doing this more, so maybe now that I have started I will keep on doing it!
I actually even wrote in this card and gave it to him already, so I am doing better already on my New Year's Resolution to send more cards! :)
