Aviary

When Aviary was first introduced a few years ago, it was my absolute favorite stamp set in the whole catalog.  Which is funny because I have hardly ever used it!  I never found a great way to utilize the images, although they are so very cute!  Since it was my favorite, I really wanted to use it one last time. I thought it would look cute with the colors at Hand Stamped Sentiments and the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches
I just noticed that the blog header at HSS is Aviary, as well as the color sample, so that must be a sign that I chose the right stamp set to go with these colors! lol
I never would have chosen this color combination so I am glad I stumbled upon this challenge.  It's hard to believe that Bashful Blue is going to be retiring. It is what I consider a true baby blue color.  I guess times are changing though and it's on to more modern colors than pink and blue for babies!  Totally fine by me because I rarely use them anyways! lol  Anyway...this isn't even a baby card so I don't know why I'm talking about babies!

Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Black StazOn, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Summer Starfruit

  3. Thanks for using Aviary; I love that set and don't use it often enough so I needed the inspiration to pull it out! Although that blue is retiring, don't forget Soft Sky; it's lovely!

  5. I agree with Kat...thanks for using Aviary. I too love this set and it has not seen ink in quite some time. Your card is just about as cute as they come. Love those sweet little birds and you really know how to make them sing! Thank you for the inspiration.
