The Stamp Review Crew: Flower Shop Edition

It's Stamp Review Crew time again! This is my last card made from my Indiana studio, so it is kind of bittersweet for me! I knew I wanted to make my very last card here for my best stamping friend and downline, Aimee. She is such a special person in my life and I wanted to make a special card for her. I was a little bummed at first to have to work with this old stamp set when I have new goodies, but in the end I actually love my card! I haven't played with this set in forever, so I just started stamping, punching and moving the flowers around on my card until I was happy with it. If you look closely, I managed to get a bunch of new goodies in there too... Layering Love Stamp set, new In Color ribbon and ink, Swirly Scribbles thinlits and Serene Scenery DSP.

I also remembered to make the inside pretty, which I always forget to do until I have my mess cleaned up. :)

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thanks so much for stopping by. Click on the links below to continue on in the hop.

The Stamp Review Crew: Papillon Potpourri Edition

Where, oh where, has the time gone?! School is out and summer has officially arrived! Woo hoo! Less than a month left until we move out of our house! Even so, I had to take a break from packing to create, since it's time for a new round of The Stamp Review Crew! This week we are bringing to you projects with a beautiful butterfly set, Papillon Potpourri.

I am such a sucker for butterfly sets and this one is especially great because of its two coordinating punches. I love folding the wings up to make them appear to be flying off of the card . I added a little Wink of Stella to the two large butterflies. That was not enough bling for me, so I also added some glitter splatter to the background and rhinestones to the corners! Might as well go big, right? :)
