Ten-Minute Tuesday

Aimee has gone and done it again and found yet another challenge blog that I just HAD to participate in. :)  This is going to be a perfect site for my Ten-Minute Tuesday cards!  It is called CAS(E) this Sketch! and I just loved the sketch they had this week.
I was so excited about this card that I squealed and did a little hop and a jump when it was finished.  No kidding, I really did!  Brett was in the room with me and he was like "Do you always get this excited when you make a card?"  No, honey, just when I love it.  Which isn't all that often lately!
This card was so quick and simple!  First I die cut the gingerbread men in a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than my card base.  Then I put it on top of a scrap piece of Very Vanilla and traced the inside of each one with a pencil.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to then stamp each of the gingerbread men inside the pencil lines and then erased them.  The Crumb Cake piece of cardstock is on Dimensionals over the stamped images.  The dotted lines around the outside are just drawn in with a Stampin' Write Marker.  For the sentiment, I used my marker and Stamp-a-ma-jig to color and stamp one word at a time so I could put the words vertically.  On the stamp, they are next to each other horizontally and didn't really fit into the space very well.  I don't usually like the phrase "Happy Christmas," but it seemed to work well here since the gingerbread men are so smiley!  Oh, and I know it is supposed to be clean and simple, but I just couldn't help but add the ribbon at the top!  I love this card so much I think I might make some to swap at the Regional event I am going to in Lansing on Saturday.  I already have some different swaps finished, but these are so cute and quick!
