I was actually way ahead of the ballgame on this one because I accidentally did my card for January 19th instead of February 19th. Oops! Vintage is not really my thing, so I chose a stamp set that I thought would work well with vintage.
When I think of vintage I always think distressing so I did a lot of that on the DSP by sanding it, wetting it, sponging it with ink and crumpling it. The back DSP is also embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder, my favorite masculine folder.
Make sure you check out the other vintage creations at ATSM and link yours up for a chance to win too! Can't wait to see what your interpretation of vintage is.
Hi Shana. Great vintage card ... love this stamp set! Your elements and techniques all work in perfect harmony to create wonderful work of art. Loll xx

Hi Shana, I agree the stamp set works well for a vintage card, great how you've combined all the elements. Fab inking and stamping. Sue x

A fab vintage card Shana - love the crumpled paper - Jacqueline xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Shana. I think the crumpling and aging of the "log book" paper is perfect for the sea theme and works so well for the vintage theme. I wouldn't have thought of it - but I will now. A great masculine card too. Hugs D
ReplyDeleteThis set worked perfectly for Vintage. I love all your distressing and crumpling too xx
