Just Believe

I am so sad to see this set retire. It has been one of my favorite flower sets and I absolutely love it. The challenge at SUO Challenges is to use your favorite retiring stamp set, so this was a perfect chance for me to use it one last time.  I also used the challenges at Create with Connie and Mary and The Play Date Cafe.
2013 Thursday Challenges-016

I used these same colors with this same stamp set recently, but I don't care. They work perfect with it!  They are so bright and cheery and make me happy looking at them. And who says you can't do repeats anyway? ;) There are no rules when it comes to crafting! Well, unless you are doing a challenge I guess but that is not a rule on any of these challenges, or any challenges I have seen for that matter. lol

I decided to also use my favorite retiring embossing folder, Lacy Brocade. I still can't believe they are retiring this one. I have always wished it was a vertical folder though because I do a lot more vertical cards than horizontal cards and it is not symmetrical this way, which bugs me a bit. :) Looking at this stamp set now, I just realized that these are pretty much the only two images I ever use out of the set!  I hate it when I do that. I need to be more conscious of that and start using all of the images in my set so I feel like I am really getting my money's worth!

  3. Beautiful. The vellum overlay softens the bright colors just enough. And I am in agreement on the horizontal design of the embossing folder. So glad you joined us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
