Addicted to Stamps...Holiday Ornaments

Today is another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!  It's one of my favorites...a photo inspiration challenge!
I have been wanting to use Lyssa's Irregular Sunburst Technique on a card and thought it would look beautiful with the Winter Frost DSP stack.
I couldn't find the perfect sentiment so I used my markers to just ink up the "Merry" from Merry Little Christmas and then the "Christmas." It actually worked pretty good!  I got a few light marks from the other words, so I fixed that by stamping off some snowflakes and stamping them on my tag.

Stamp Set: Merry Little Christmas, Snow Day
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Brushed Silver, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Tools: Holiday Ornament Framelits, Circle Punch, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder
Accessories: Rhinestones, Winter Frost DSP stack, Dimensionals

  1. Beautiful card, Shana! Such a lovely choice of DSP, looks lovely in the sunburst arrangement with the embossing in the lower section, lovely. xx

  2. I love this starburst technique. I had made one that I taught in card class this morning. They loved it! Both cards are awesome! xx

  3. Great idea to use the sun rays for a winter card. I love the colours, a real frosty winter feeling x

  4. Beautiful card, I love the papers and colors. I've learned an useful tip for inking sentiments only partially: Cover the words that you won't use with washi tape, ink the words you need, remove the washi and stamp! xx

  5. Hi Shana. Those papers are brilliant, just right for the sunburst. Love the way you created your own sentiment, it looks fab! Have a lovely day! hugs Monika xxx

  6. I really like this design paper, the colours and designs are just lovely. I really like this sunburst technique too! Great card.

  7. I love how you did the sentiment on this fabulous card Shana!!

  8. Wow! This is so beautiful, Shana! Love all those papers.. Gorgeous stuff.. :)
