Just looking at this relaxing scene makes me feel a teensy weensy bit better. What I wouldn't give to remove myself from my current state of BLAH and end up on this beach! Can you believe that I don't have a single beach stamp though?! I decided to focus on the weaving on the hat, the color scheme and the flower in the drink. I used the sketch from retro sketches on my card to get me started.
retro sketches has some amazing sketches and this one is no exception! I love what I was able to come up with using this sketch!
I did a lot of embossing on this card. The clouds are dry embossed and the flowers, leaves and sentiment are all heat embossed. It's amazing the extra oomph it adds when you emboss instead of just stamp!
