My favorite time of the month is when my monthly Stamp Camp order arrives because that means new toys!!! Yay! This month I got some things that are different from what I usually order, just to change things up a bit.
CASology is having a fun challenge that worked perfectly with two of my new sets.
When I was thinking of bold, I thought about a bold statement, so I decided to make a fun birthday card. The color I chose is also pretty bold. :)
"You HOW old?" I thought that was a pretty bold question to ask someone on their birthday. :) For my fox, I stamped him once on DSP and once on Whisper White cardstock. I then used my craft night to carefully cut out the parts that I wanted to be orange and adhered them to the Whisper White cardstock. I love how it turned out and I will definitely be doing this again!
On a side note, I wanted to share a picture with you of my "helper," Cali. As you can see, she is there by my Big Shot and where I take my photos. She also likes to sit right next to my Tabletop Trimmer. I'm always moving her so I don't cut her tail!
Stamp Sets: Life in the Forest, Just Sayin'
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Black StazOn
Tools: Word Bubbles Framelits
Accessories: Retired Brights DSP stack, Dimensionals
Love this set and your cute card Shana! Cali is a sweetheart! I have a feline 'helper' too, called Tuppence, who isn't actually all that helpful...! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteCali is gorgeous and certainly looks like she enjoys to be in the midst of things. Love your bold card and that fox is super cute.

Fabulous card. I love your bold sentiment. Pretty cheeky. Cute cat, too. Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteI have three very helpful (not) stamping cats. Your Cali looks a lot like my Tonks.
