Christmas Countdown-2 Days

It's Christmas Countdown and I didn't even make a Christmas card today! lol  I really liked the color combination at Stampin' Royalty, but it just didn't scream Christmas to me. :)  More floral.  I paired it with the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary.
I thought this was a cute little sketch.  I almost made a square card, but I almost never send those so I decided to just keep it a standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.

I am down to the bare bones of my Summer Smooches DSP but I still had some Island Indigo left! :)  I also had some Lucky Limeade brads leftover from last year's Sale-a-Bration to use on the tag. I love this little tag but I always forget to use it!  I wanted to add a few more flowers to my card so I stamped and cut out the little flowers from Summer Silhouettes and added some rhinestones to the centers for a little extra bling.
Stamp Sets: Delicate Doilies, Summer Silhouettes
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Riding Hood Red, Summer Starfruit
Tools: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Hole Punch
Accessories: Retired SAB brads, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

  1. What a lovely, fresh card. Love the little flower embellishments. Thanks so much for playing at Create with Connie & Mary this week.

  2. This is so bright and cheerful! Love these colors together!! And those two little flowers finish it off perfectly! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

  3. I debated the same thing on keeping the sketch square or leaving it standard size. In the end I went with square but I like how the sketch turned out for your standard card too. The little cut flowers in the corner is a fun addition - mine was similar with punched flowers. Have a Merry Christmas and thanks so much for joining our challenge this week at Create with Connie & Mary!

  4. What a fabulous combination of both challenges!Love the little strip of embossed cardstock along the side of the card! The possibilities for doing that is endless! Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary!

  5. Pretty, pretty card Shana - love how you've combined these two challenges! Love the addition of the two little flowers too! Thanks for joining us at Create with Connie & Mary this week!

  6. Those colors all look so good together along with the layers on the sketch challenge. Love the way you used an embossed layer to separate the 2 colors. Thanks for joining us at Create with Connie & Mary!
