Sparkles, Sparkles EVERYWHERE!

I was in love with this picture from Hand Stamped Sentiments this week!
I loved all of the colors and sparkle in the picture so I decided to sponge my own ornaments and add some sparkle of my own.
I started by die cutting two each of the small ornament and large ornament from the Holiday Ornaments Framelits.  I used the negative parts to sponge inside of and the positive parts as masks.  It is hard to tell from the picture but some of the ornaments are actually red!  I then heat set Heat & Stick Powder over the top of the whole thing and then poured Dazzling Diamonds over it while it was still hot.  I didn't want to take away from this effect, so I kept the rest of the card simple with the plain ornament and sentiment banner.

  5. You rocked the glitter! I am such a huge fan of glitter that even my husband and sons usually have specks of glitter on themselves :D Super pretty card, it must have taken a lot of patience to get the sponging done so perfectly. The result is stunningly sparkly! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments! Erika
