Christmas Tin

Here's a sneak peek of part of the project we will be making at my Downline & Hostess Christmas Party next Saturday!  It is a tin that will have some notecards and designer envelopes inside. It is perfect for a little gift, or you can keep it yourself if you can't bear to part with anything you make. :)  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
A fairly simple sketch but I was able to glam it up a bit with some red and silver glimmer paper!
I bought these tins for SUPER cheap on the SU! clearance rack awhile ago and they are perfect for this type of gift.  I have also made little scrapbooks to go inside of them.  I had a bunch of this DSP left over from my Christmas Card Camp, so this tin and the coordinating envelopes (which I will show later after the party if I remember!) were a great way to use it up!
Stamp Set: More Merry Messages
Cardstock: Old Olive
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive
Tools: Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder, Snow Flurry Bigz Die, hole punch, sponges
Accessories: Neutrals Glimmer Brad, Red and Silver Glimmer Paper, retired tin

  1. Beautiful tin Shana! I love the colours you've chosen - that red snowflake looks fabulous! Love the distressed look! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Great idea! Love how you decorated the tin! Thanks for joining us at FMS!
