Easton was invited to go celebrate his friend Brett's birthday with him on Wednesday, so I threw together this fun card for him. The sketch is from retro sketches. This is one of my favorite challenge sites because the sketches are so clean and simple!
I wanted to fill in all of that white space at the bottom with something, and decided to do white-on-white with numbers.
I love how it turned out! I shared here how to make the medallion behind the "5." It's super easy and great for a little boy card! I didn't have a sentiment that fit great on the banner, so I used my markers to color in the "happy" from Up, Up & Away and then the "birthday" to place them side by side. On the stamp, they are actually stacked. I love using my markers to be able to do things like this!
Stamp Set: Up, Up & Away
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Real Red
Tools: Bigz Alphabet Typeset, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Accessories: Dimensionals
I also love the versatility that the Stampin' Write markers give us. You have made a terrific birthday card!!
