I had so much fun making the flower for my wedding card that I decided to use the same technique for the pom pom on my spirit card!
Now, those of you who know me really well know that this is NOT a Purdue Boilermaker card. I am a Hoosier girl through and through! These are the school colors for the Busco Eagles, where my kids go to school. This is what Brett always called "old gold." When he was in school, it drove him crazy when they would try to use yellow in place of the gold because their true school color was "old gold." Funny how we all have things like that bother us!
For this card, I spritzed the pom pom with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz. It really made it come to life and have some dimension. I wish that showed up in the picture! I embossed the background with the Argyle Embossing Folder because I always think of school when I think argyle! It's a pretty simple card that doesn't require a lot of supplies, but I think it would look so cute hanging on the cheerleaders' lockers.
Oh, and if you were wondering, Busco beat Prairie Heights EASILY, 42-0. Go Eagles!
