The color palette this week is another beauty.
I decided to pair it with a sketch from retro sketches.
I just loved this sketch, as I always do the sketches from their site! It's a pretty simple sketch, yet there is still a lot going on. If that makes any sense at all! :)I did a little bit of embossing in the background with the row of three scallops. I was a little bummed because each time I moved the embossing folder it squished the previous embossing I had done. If anyone has a tip for making this not happen I would love to hear it! The front frame with the sentiment was embossed and then I cut it out and stamped it. I stamped the sentiment on both sides and had a hard time deciding which one I liked better. They both looked great! I was excited to use both of these embossing folders because they rarely get used. It is fun using things that have just been sitting around collecting dust. It's almost like getting new goodies!
