I decided to use some springy colors and make a warm card today. I used the colors from Play Date Cafe and the sketch from Nacho Average Challenges.
I chose the colors Primrose Petals, Certainly Celery and Basic Gray to represent the colors in the photo. I really like these three together. I actually think they would make nice Christmas ornament or snowflake colors, so I might have to try those later. :) For now, I thought warm thoughts.Pretty simple and straightforward. I turned the sketch sideways. Some of the flowers are stamped full strength and others are stamped off. I used the three rhinestones in the left corner to balance the sentiment in the lower right corner. There are also some rhinestones in the little flower centers. Love me some bling!
Stamp Sets: Blessings from Heaven, Summer Silhouettes
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Primrose Petals, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Primrose Petals
Tools: Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Labels Collection Framelits
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and very 'springy'! I don't know that I'm ready for spring yet, but I do wish the temperatures would quit flip-flopping for us. T-shirts one day and winter coats the next...
