I decided to use the Double Dutch Fold for my card. There are so many fun techniques to try there. It sure has grown since I first became a member! I really need to start using up this fall DSP that I have sitting around here, so I put the Christmas stamps away for now and pulled out the leaves. I know, yesterday I was making a spring card! I just can't make up my mind. That is the good thing about my job. I don't have to! I can do whatever I please and there is no one to tell me it is wrong!
I just love making these leaves and they coordinate perfectly with this DSP. I haven't posted one in a while, so I'll give you the rundown on how to easily make one. I die cut the leaf from my Autumn Accents Bigz Die in More Mustard cardstock, then sponged it with More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Raspberry Ripple ink. Then I stamped it with the water splotches stamp from French Foliage and scored in veins with my stylus. I did draw back over the lines with my Cajun Craze marker, but that is hard to see. I then spritzed it with some homemade Crumb Cake shimmer spritz, crumpled up my beautiful creation, then unfolded it and adhered it to the Early Espresso Window Frame Framelit. The framelit is backed with a square of Lucky Limeade cardstock. I just love doing this. I added a little tag with the sentiment on the inside.
I really like this fold for a card and already have all of the cardstock out to go make a Christmas card like with the Double Dutch Fold. I love it when a card sparks the creativity in me like this and gets me motivated to stamp!
