Bring on the sunshine!

It's kind of a dreary day outside today...where is the sunshine?!  Okay, I've had enough winter already, I'm ready for summer!  Wait, what?  It's not even winter yet?!  And then I have to go through spring before I get back to summer? Ugh!  Why, oh WHY do I live in Indiana?  It is not warm here enough months out of the year!  I decided to make a card with some warm colors to help warm me up today. :)  The colourQ had a great combo for me to work with!
I thought these colors would look good kind of blended together, so I decided to use them on Hello, Doily, my new favorite background stamp since they retired Medallion. :)  And why they did that is beyond me!  It was the best stamp for masculine cards!
I love it when I see people layer flowers over the doily or medallion, and I decided I wanted mine to look like a big ole' sunshine.  I inked up the doily with So Saffron, then sponged on Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.  The flowers and sentiment are stamped in Black Staz-On, the BEST black ink there is, in my opinion.  Doesn't hurt that it smells amazing too! :)

Stamp Sets: Hello, Doily, Just Believe, Word Play
Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
Ink: Black Staz-On, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango
Tools: Sponges
Accessories: Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon, Brights Designer Buttons
